Tehreek-e-Pakistan ka Aik Gumnaam Sipahi ("A Forgotten Soldier of the Pakistan Movement") was researched and compiled by Dr. Syed Sajid Husain, M.D., edited by Ashraf Fatehpuri, and published by Ambience Communications, Karachi, in its first Urdu edition of October 2017. It drew on family papers, correspondence, photographs, and decades of personal recollection, and included contributions and tributes from Dr. Khurshid Hasan Rizvi, Muhammad Ahmad, Mr. Sufi Mahmood-ul-Haq, and other friends, relatives, and associates of Haji Syed Sajjad Husain. This English-language narrative biography, adapted and expanded by Syed Abid Husain, draws on that original work and on the family's continuing oral history to bring the life it preserved to a new generation of readers.
