Participation, Representation, and Responsibility
Maryland Muslims are physicians, teachers, entrepreneurs, engineers, academics, public servants, social workers, students, tradespeople, professionals, parents, volunteers, and neighbors.
MCM encourages informed and constructive participation in civic life. We seek to cultivate connections among Maryland Muslims and encourage responsible engagement with issues affecting their families, institutions, businesses, neighborhoods, and communities.
MCM supports greater awareness of public policy, economic opportunity, civic responsibility, community representation, and constructive participation at local, state, and national levels.
Our goal is not simply to have a seat at the table. It is to encourage informed citizens who understand their responsibilities to their neighbors and society.
