Preserving history is meaningful only when future generations can learn from it.
MCM seeks to connect Maryland Muslim youth with the experiences of those who came before them—not simply to admire the past, but to understand the responsibilities that accompany it.
The pioneers built institutions. The next generations must strengthen them, improve them, and build what their own time requires.
MCM encourages young Muslims to participate in historical research, interviewing elders, digital archiving, writing, photography, community service, civic engagement, leadership development, and educational projects.
The next chapter of Maryland Muslim history belongs to them.
